Membership Terms
Welcome to the Engineering Students' Association (ESA). By registering for membership, you agree to abide by these Terms of Service and our Code of Conduct.
Eligibility
Membership is open to all registered engineering students at the University of Eldoret. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
Membership Benefits
Access to ESA events, workshops, and seminars
Networking opportunities with industry professionals
Professional development resources
Participation in engineering competitions
Access to ESA digital platforms and resources
Important: Membership is valid for one academic year and must be renewed annually. Membership fees are non-refundable once processed.
Payment Terms
All membership fees must be paid in full before access to ESA benefits is granted.
Payment Methods
We accept payments through M-Pesa to our official bank account at National Bank of Kenya. All transactions are processed securely.
Fee Structure
Annual Membership Fee: KES 500.00
Payment is required upon registration
Fees are subject to change with 30 days notice
Code of Conduct
As an ESA member, you agree to maintain professional conduct and represent the engineering community with integrity.
Professional Behavior
Respect all members, guests, and staff
Maintain academic integrity
Use ESA resources responsibly
Report any misconduct to ESA leadership
Zero Tolerance: ESA maintains a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, discrimination, or any form of unethical behavior. Violations may result in immediate membership termination.

We are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with data protection laws.

We collect only necessary information for membership management, including:
Personal identification information
Academic records and department
Contact information
Payment transaction details
Data Usage
Your data is used exclusively for:
Membership management and communication

Membership Termination
Membership may be terminated under the following circumstances:
Voluntary Termination
Members may request termination at any time, though membership fees are non-refundable.
Involuntary Termination
Violation of Code of Conduct
Provision of false information
Non-payment of required fees
Academic disqualification from engineering programs
Liability & Disclaimer
ESA provides resources and opportunities for professional development but assumes limited liability.
Limitation of Liability
ESA is not liable for:
Personal injury during events (except due to gross negligence)
Loss or damage to personal property
Academic performance or career outcomes
Actions of third-party vendors or partners
Intellectual Property
All ESA materials, resources, and branding are intellectual property of the Engineering Students' Association and may not be reproduced without permission.
